Description

Athena, a leader in motorcycle parts for over 40 years, offers a complete range of cast pistons for the main 2-stroke and 4-stroke off-road models. Made on state-of-the-art CNC machines that ensure production tolerances below 0.01 mm, Athena pistons are manufactured from special high-performance materials (silicon, nickel and aluminum alloys) that ensure OEM-level reliability together with greater strength and excellent performance. The perfectly polished profiles ensure smooth flow and ideal flame front propagation.
Each piston, engineered in Italy by the Athena R&D department, also undergoes rigorous dyno and track testing to verify its performance.

This piston for the original cylinder is fitted with piston rings, which ensure lower friction with the cylinder and therefore better performance.
In addition to the piston itself, the kit includes the piston pin, the pin circlips and the ring set. All these components are replaceable and interchangeable if needed.
