Description

The Mobius x8 wrist brace incorporates innovative CCRS (patent-pending continuous cable system) technology that provides maximum wrist joint support with excellent mobility and progressive resistance to hyperextension, minimizing the risk of ligament or bone injury. The CCRS system dynamically changes cable tension in harmony with wrist mobility, thus preventing hyperextension and excessive twisting (lateral and medial). The adjustment of the ferrule makes it easy to achieve the desired comfort also the degree of joint flexion can be limited from 10 to 70 degrees with a simple adjustment screw. When an unnatural twisting force or hyperextension burdens the wrist, the cable becomes progressively tighter around it, preventing unwanted movement that could cause ligament or bone injury. The innovative CCRS design, wraps around the wrist joints both longitudinally and transversely. This system resists hyperextension just as natural ligaments do by holding the wrist joints firm by strengthening the ligaments inside the wrist. The CCRS system tightens together the various parts of the brace (metacarpal shell, ulnar shell, and posterior patella) preventing movement of the brace on the wrist.
