Description

MOTOREX COPPER PASTE is a copper paste which, at temperatures ranging from –40 °C to +900 °C – and for short periods up to +1200 °C – forms an effective barrier layer between metal surfaces, preventing them from seizing. It is used as an assembly paste for all types of screws, threads and press-fit seats. Thanks to its high percentage of minute copper particles, it prevents metal components from seizing or becoming stuck due to rust. The assembly paste has proven particularly effective in applications subject to high thermal and mechanical stresses: e.g. in screw connections on exhaust systems, fixings on turbochargers, keyed shafts on boat propellers, threads and screws on steam valves, etc.
