Description

The V-Force 3 has features not found on any other reed valve on the market, such as the dual contact surface, adjustable reed stops and the flowed surface of the reed cage. By doubling the contact surface at the reed tip, a reed opening of just 50% compared to the original is enough to achieve the same flow. A decisive advantage, considering that a reed opens and closes 133 times per second at 8000 rpm. The reed works half as much as an original reed, with a huge reduction in wear and a longer component life.

In addition, there is a significant improvement in power delivery across the whole curve, with a significant boost in the low and mid-range. Instant engine response to the throttle is just the start of the list of improvements.

The reed petals now rest on a radiused surface, which creates a "loading" effect that improves already lightning-fast acceleration. The new reed cage design lets the reed sit "recessed" in the cage itself, with a cushioning effect on the reed tip and preventing any reversion in the intake tract.
