Malossi is pleased to present the new Digitronic with variable advance!
Compared to the original, the Malossi control unit has completely modified advance curve settings and the limiter has been moved to 15,000 rpm.
This new Digitronic manages the advance setting and the SAS valve setting.
Advance curve
Ignition advance is managed by linear interpolation of a three-dimensional curve, consisting of 16 engine speed break points and 8 engine temperature break points.
SAS valve curve
The introduction of secondary air downstream of the throttle valve allows the engine control system to compensate for the non-linearities typical of a carburetor system.
The SAS (Secondary Air Source) valve is controlled by the control unit using a linear interpolation plan with 16 break points based on engine speed and 8 break points based on engine temperature.
The management of the SAS valve reduces pollutant emissions and optimizes engine performance in all conditions of use.
Designed to be plug & play, i.e., compatible with the original sensors and actuators.
The calibrations and refined plans allow for a concrete increase in engine performance.
