Dylan Ferrandis announces his retirement: the SMX final will be his last race

Dylan announced the news himself ahead of his final race. The experienced French rider said he started riding a motocross bike at the age of three and looks back with great satisfaction on the life that motocross has given him. Ferrandis has enjoyed a long career at the very highest level and, after several years in the World Championship, moved to the United States. There, he became one of the most successful European riders of his generation in the American Championships. Ferrandis spent his final season with the Troy Lee Designs Red Bull Ducati Factory Racing team. He was part of the new official American team with which Ducati made its debut in the American Supercross and motocross championships in 2026. Ferrandis hopes to end his career in the best possible way, alongside the team. Below are the rider’s comments.

“This weekend’s race will be my last as a professional rider. After that, I’ll be retiring from the sport. I’ve been riding motocross since I was three years old and have raced all over the world. This life has been exactly as I’ve always wanted it to be. It’s been a fantastic year with the whole Troy Lee Designs Factory Racing team. We’ll try to finish it on a high note and, above all, enjoy these final moments of racing together.”
