Jeffrey Herlings will be in Japan for the final round of the Japanese Championship.

Jeffrey Herlings continues his season in Japan: he will be on the starting grid for the MFJ-GP at Sugo

Herlings has rounded off this season by winning 13 GPs and 22 races, including a hat-trick in the last eight GPs, a run that continued at the Motocross of Nations, where he secured a one-two, winning in his class and helping the Netherlands to third place on the podium. However, this will be the first time in his career that he will race in Japan, an experience he is eagerly looking forward to. Below are the rider’s comments.

“I’m really excited to go to Japan and race. It’s a country I’ve never visited before, but one I’ve always wanted to see, so I’m grateful for this opportunity and I’ll try to see as much as possible. Obviously, it’s an important race for Honda, and I’m one of the many riders who have made this journey, so I’m proud, especially after such a successful year. It’s my chance to thank many engineers in person – the people who have worked behind the scenes to make this Honda CRF450RW so fantastic – so I’ll make sure to do that and enjoy the experience to the full.”
