The Dutch rider has confirmed her participation after finishing the Women’s Motocross World Championship with a second place in the final Grand Prix and third place in the overall WMX standings.

Lotte van Drunen set for her US debut: she will compete in the 2026 SMX Final

For Van Drunen, the American adventure represents an exciting continuation of her international season. Following the final round of the WMX, she will immediately turn her attention to the United States, where she will once again line up on the starting grid for the SMX Final. Van Drunen finished third in the WMX World Championship. After everything she has been through this year, she stated that third place had become her target. In the final round, she also secured second place overall. Here are Lotte’s comments.

“The 2026 WMX season is over. After everything that’s happened, finishing third in the championship had become the goal, and we achieved it. I finished second overall this weekend. It wasn’t my best race and my starts weren’t great either, but I gave it everything I had at the time.”
