MXGP: Lucas Coenen ruled out of the Czech Republic MXGP: no races for the KTM rider

Lucas Coenen will not be taking part in today’s Czech Republic MXGP Grand Prix at Loket. The Belgian rider from the Red Bull KTM Factory Racing Team has suffered a pinched nerve in his left hip, which will prevent him from competing. The team has announced that Coenen began to feel the effects of the injury after Saturday’s (yesterday’s) qualifying session. As a precaution, and to prevent the situation from worsening, the decision was taken to withdraw him from the remainder of the race weekend. This is a significant setback for both Coenen and KTM, but the focus is now entirely on his recovery. The team hopes to have the Belgian rider back in top form and to be able to field him again at the start of the upcoming MXGP World Championship races.
