Supercross 2027: all the latest news on the East, West, Triple Crown and SMX Next

East/West Coast Rounds:

The first round pitting the East and West coasts against each other will take place fairly early in the season, in Glendale, Arizona, as the sixth round. This will come after the West has contested four of its races, whilst the East will have raced just once, the previous weekend in Tampa. Nine rounds will follow before their next clash in Pittsburgh and, two weeks later, in Salt Lake City.

SMX Next:

The next generation of racing will consist of six rounds in 2027, with the series – according to some rumours – set to run as a proper championship, with points accumulated round by round to determine the winner. Only one round will be held at a regular Western region venue, with the opening race scheduled for Anaheim 2. The following four rounds will all take place at Eastern Region venues, from Tampa to Detroit, then on to Daytona and Foxborough, finally concluding in Salt Lake City.

Triple Crown:

The third round, on 23 January at A2, will kick off the first Triple Crown of the year. The second round will take place at the eighth round in Arlington, Texas, and will conclude on 3 April in Foxborough, Massachusetts.

Celebrity Races:

Two major themed races will take place during the 2027 Supercross calendar: the annual St. Jude Cancer Research race, which will be held in Glendale for the sixth round, and the Military Appreciation race, which will take place at the eleventh round at Lumen Field, taking the competition to the north-west Pacific.
