For Karlis Reisulis, joining the Van Venrooy Racing team represents a new and significant challenge in his career. The Latvian rider, having been part of the Yamaha programme in recent years, is preparing to embark on a new adventure riding a KTM. Reisulis comes into this new venture on the back of an excellent season in the MX2 World Championship, finishing seventh in the overall standings. It was a particularly successful season, highlighted by his first-ever podium finish in the category. In addition to the Latvian rider, Van Ven Venrooy Racing has also officially announced the signing of Australian rider Byron Dennis, for whom this partnership represents a significant step forward in his international career. Towards the end of the season, Dennis left Australia to move to Europe, where he had the opportunity to compete in the EMX250 Championship and take part in several rounds of the MX2 World Championship. The young Australian immediately demonstrated his potential, securing a podium finish in the EMX250 and achieving several top-ten finishes in the MX2 World Championship rounds. With his move to Van Venrooy Racing, Dennis will have access to a strong organisation to continue his development, hone his skills and gain experience in one of the most competitive categories in international motocross. The arrival of Reisulis and Dennis represents a further step forward for Van Venrooy Racing ahead of the 2027 season. The team’s sporting project is further strengthened thanks to increased support from KTM and its new status as an official team of the Austrian manufacturer. A new challenge therefore awaits the Dutch team, which is ready to tackle the 2027 MX2 World Championship with a revamped line-up and high ambitions.
