Greater Grip and Control in Corners
Progressive Cornering Block Technology (PCBT) is used to improve rear grip in corners. The design of the PCBT block tips increases grip thanks to a longer edge length, adding flexibility to the block tips while complementing the specific stiffness of the blocks themselves. Block height is adjusted to optimize stiffness; combined with the high-resistance compound (H-RRC), this helps increase traction.
Improved road feel and predictability under load
The latest version of Multiple Block Distribution (MBD) technology features a greater number of blocks from the center toward the shoulder of the tire and a reduced number of blocks in the center of the tire. This optimizes rebound, improving road feel and predictability under load.
Reliable traction on a wide range of terrains
The spacing between adjacent blocks has been optimized to ensure traction on softer terrain, providing reliable grip in a wide range of conditions. Block size has been increased, improving both block stiffness and durability, as well as surface penetration.
