Webb era stato costantemente tra i primi cinque per tutta la stagione, ma a causa di questo infortunio, salterà le restanti gare del Campionato National.

AMA Pro Motocross: Cooper Webb fuori per Infortunio 

Di seguito le parole dell'Ufficiale Yamaha.

Cooper Webb:  

"Mi dispiace molto dover dire che salterò le prossime gare di motocross professionistico. Come potete vedere nella seconda foto (su Instagram di Webb), ho incastrato il piede in un solco e mi sono ritirato presto dalla seconda manche di qualificazione a RedBud. Avevo dolore al ginocchio, ma speravo fosse solo un piccolo fastidio, e ho finito la giornata. La buona notizia è che il danno non è troppo grave. Lunedì mi sottoporrò a un intervento chirurgico rapido e dovrei tornare in moto tra circa un mese".
