With an average age of 22, the Italian team is one of the most eagerly anticipated at this end-of-season event, particularly following their excellent third-place finish in France in 2023.

2026 Motocross of Nations: Italy announces its team for Ernée

Below are the comments from Head Coach Thomas Traversini and FMI President Giovanni Copioli.

Thomas Traversini:

“We’re heading to France knowing we have what it takes to make our mark, just as we did in 2023 with our third-place finish. The track suits our style well and the riders are already highly motivated and raring to go. We’re a great team and I can guarantee that everyone will give their all.”

Giovanni Copioli:

“We’re heading to Ernée with a young team eager to achieve an excellent result. Our riders have already shown just how much the Maglia Azzurra means to them and will proudly represent our country in front of the large crowd expected at the French circuit.”
