Foxhills crowns Jeffrey Herlings and Guillem Farrés in the 12th round of the MXGP World Championship.

Jeffrey Herlings also claimed victory in the second race. The Dutchman narrowly beat reigning world champion Romain Febvre, rounding off a perfect weekend. Tim Gajser finished third, whilst Ruben Fernandez and Andrea Adamo completed the top five. Lucas Coenen, leader of the MXGP World Championship, showed great determination by lining up at the start of the second race despite his injuries. However, the Belgian was once again forced to retire before the finish line. Although he failed to score points in either race, Lucas Coenen remains at the top of the MXGP World Championship standings. However, Herlings has reduced the gap to just 11 points ahead of the next round.

In the 250cc class, victory went to the Triumph rider, Farres and Längenfelder battled it out for overall victory after the German crashed whilst in the lead, but Farres responded perfectly to every overtaking attempt, pulling away to victory and claiming the red plate. Sacha Coenen started in third position and, despite the pain, managed to hold on to fifth place.
