Jeffrey Herlings also claimed victory in the second race of the MXGP championship at Loket. The Dutchman overtook both Tim Gajser and Tom Vialle in the opening laps, before pulling away to secure another resounding victory. Behind Herlings, his team-mate, Tom Vialle, finished in second place, followed by Tim Gajser, Ruben Fernandez and Romain Febvre. The Frenchman had to start from a position well outside the top ten after a crash at the first corner, along with Kay de Wolf and others, but managed to fight his way back up to fifth place. Thanks to his dominant performance, Herlings also claimed the red leader’s jersey in the MXGP World Championship, overtaking the absent Lucas Coenen. The Dutchman now holds a 49-point lead in the overall standings.

Liam Everts claimed victory in the second MX2 race at Loket. The Belgian crossed the finish line six seconds ahead of championship leader Guillem Farrés, whilst Karlis Reisulis finished third, ahead of Camden McLellan and Janis Reisulis. Simon Längenfelder, who started third, made a costly mistake on the second lap whilst attempting to overtake one of the Triumph riders. The German crashed and returned to the pits with a suspected arm injury. The overall victory went to Guillem Farrés, with the Spaniard taking a significant step forward in the battle for the MX2 World Championship. Camden McLellan and Karlis Reisulis joined him on the overall podium. Janis Reisulis finished fourth overall, whilst Liam Everts secured fifth place after an impressive comeback in the first race and victory in the second.
