This legendary track in the south-west of England, about an hour’s drive from London, has hosted many memorable events throughout the 1990s.

Over the years, the events held at this track have been dominated by Stefan Everts, with three consecutive victories in the 250cc class and a memorable landslide victory against the world’s best riders in the mud of the 1998 Motocross of Nations. Sébastien Tortelli and Alessio Chiodi joined Moore, each winning two GPs on this track, but some of the most memorable moments for British fans were the victories of Paul Malin, an MXGP-TV commentator, in 1995, and James Dobb, the last winner of a GP in the 125cc class, in 2000. Now, after 26 years of being relegated to national and local races, the steepest climbs that many riders have ever faced are back in the global spotlight, with the twelfth round set to take place at the completely refurbished circuit near the town of Swindon, in the county of Wiltshire.
