Jo Shimoda bids farewell to the 2026 Pro Motocross season.

NATIONAL: Jo Shimoda out for the rest of the season 

Jo Shimoda will miss the rest of the AMA Pro Motocross Championship after announcing on social media that his National Championship season is over. The setback has come at the worst possible time for the Japanese rider. The Honda star had rediscovered his best form and was leading the championship standings when his season was brought to an abrupt halt. Below are the rider’s comments.

Jo Shimoda:

“It really hurts, especially as I’d finally got back to a level where I could be competing for wins, and then this happened. One thing I’m certain of is that I’ll always find a way to come back, whatever the circumstances. Thanks to my team, my family and all the fans for your support. We’ll be back soon.”
