NATIONAL: First podium for Jorge Prado in the AMA Pro Motocross Championship

The Spaniard put in an excellent performance in Race 1, crossing the line in the top three and holding onto second place throughout the race to secure an impressive second-place finish. Another brilliant start in Race 2 saw Prado battle for the lead once again, ultimately securing another second place following a close fight. On his Pro Motocross debut with the Red Bull KTM Factory Racing team, the four-time world champion secured an excellent second place overall in the first of 11 rounds. Here are Jorge’s comments.

Jorge Prado:

“It’s a great start to the season with second place overall! It was a good day of racing: we battled for the lead and even took the lead in the early stages of Race 2, so I’m happy. I think we can build on this: we’ll learn from this experience and be a bit more ready the next time the starting gate drops.”
