The organisation is currently in talks with potential investors to strengthen the championship’s financial base and enable further international growth. In recent weeks, there has been much speculation about the future of the championship. SX Global has now confirmed that it is actively seeking a new and significant investment. According to the organisation, these discussions are progressing well. The aim is to find an investor willing to commit to World Supercross in the long term and to help create a more solid and sustainable foundation for the championship, the teams, the riders, the partners and the fans. “As with any investment of this scale, completing the process requires sufficient time and careful due diligence. Whilst we remain confident in the future of the championship, the timing means we must take certain short-term operational measures. Consequently, we have taken the difficult decision not to go ahead with the World Supercross British Grand Prix, which was scheduled to take place in Birmingham, England, on 10 October. We understand that this is disappointing news for our fans, teams, riders and partners, particularly in the UK, where World Supercross has built up a passionate and significant fan base. This is not a decision we have taken lightly.”
