Fantic’s 2027 new models, featuring the launch of the new XXF250 2027.
It remains a top-class contender in the 1/8-litre class, backed by a track record that includes two Junior World titles and three EMX125 titles. At the heart of this small but extremely powerful bike is a 125cc 2-stroke engine. For the most demanding riders, the Racing Replica Engine Kit is available, derived directly from the Fantic XX125s competing in the European Championship. The chassis features an ultra-lightweight semi-double cradle aluminium frame weighing just 8 kg, combined with the 48mm Kayaba SSS suspension system, which ensures impeccable handling precision. Rounding off the package, the Fantic Racing exhaust system with chrome-plated expansion chamber – developed by Fantic’s R&D department – delivers a distinctive sound and instant response, whilst the CDI control unit allows the two engine mappings to be managed directly from the handlebars, adapting perfectly to any terrain.
This is pure adrenaline, a modern classic for lovers of high-performance 2-strokes seeking explosive power and total control. Thanks to the expertise gained by the Fantic Factory Team, the piston has been specifically designed for racing use, making the 250cc engine’s power delivery incisive yet always manageable. The chassis reflects the excellence of the range with its ultra-light aluminium frame and Kayaba SSS suspension – a combination that has already proven its worth by winning several titles in the European EMX 250 and 2-stroke championships. On this model too, the optimised CDI control unit offers two engine maps selectable from the handlebars, allowing the rider to smooth out power delivery on the trickiest terrain or unleash maximum power when needed.
This will be the standout new addition to the new Cross range. It will be officially launched in a few weeks’ time and available through the dealer network in November 2026: until then, stay tuned to Fantic’s channels to discover all the new features that will make this bike a star of the upcoming 2027 racing season.
The revelation of the 2025 MXGP season, it has raised the bar with technical developments aimed at maximising performance in the premier class. Last season, the high-performance 450cc engine already received significant updates to the cylinder head, intake ports and a flywheel with greater inertia. The Brembo hydraulic clutch and Akrapovic exhaust, featuring a titanium tailpipe, come as standard, enhancing the power curve and engine response, whilst the aluminium frame and Kayaba SSS suspension offer extremely precise feedback. The package is rounded off by world-championship-spec electronics featuring Traction Control and Launch Control as standard, which have already enabled the XXF450 to secure no fewer than 8 holeshots in the 2025 MXGP World Championship.Â
